Sunday - el Studio
El Estudio offers you a spacious dance studio at the Chevy Chase Ballroom. We found this professional dance venue for our students in the winter of 2005 when the popularity of El Lounge grew to the point that we could not fit all of the dancers into the romantic, yet intimate space of the Meze dance floor. Ever since then, intensive tango classes have been happening at El Estudio weekly. The main luxury of this venue is in its ample space, large mirrors and smooth polish floors.

Classes
6pm class - is an intensive class for first time tangueros as well as intermediate dancers who wish to get a lot of personal attention. Generally, two instructors are present so usually the class is broken down into group levels.
Practi-longa
What is that? It is an short milonga-practice fusion that is held right after the class. Come to work on technique and practice your newly learned pasos for FREE. It is an opportunity and you just simply can’t miss! As a courtesy, ice cream and apple pie are generously offered by the Chevy Chase Ballroom.
Cost
The class and practi-longa is $15 for walkins or $10 with a student ID.

Parking is free and is located right next door at the Bank of America parking lot. El Estudio is only a few blocks South of the Friendship Heights metro station on the red line.
